The Crew Parking is the area for everyone arriving by their own car. It is designated separately because private vehicles would otherwise be parked exactly where the equipment truck needs to maneuver.
Why it's in the Schedule
With address and directions. Sixty people looking for a parking spot at six in the morning will delay the crew call by twenty minutes — and this is not the fault of individuals, but a planning error.
Practical Considerations
- Lit and secure if returning after wrap in the dark.
- A walk of under ten minutes or shuttle service — otherwise, the distance becomes a question of working time.
- Not in front of driveways. Most complaints during exterior shoots concern blocked access roads, not the shoot itself.
