Why Laundry is Part of the Equipment
Because costumes are about continuity. If a scene is shot over three shooting days, the same shirt must look the same on all three days—clean if it was clean, and dirty in the same way if it was. This cannot be maintained without on-site laundry facilities.

- Sorted, labeled by character and scene, with photos on the hangers.
- Duplicates for anything that gets wet, bloody, or damaged—usually in multiple versions.
- Separated from what has already been shot; a costume already used must not accidentally return to the scene.
